Michael Jackson (Michael Joseph Jackson) was born on August 29, 1958, Gary, Indiana. Michael start his debate on profesional music scene in 1968 as a member of Jackson 5. Then began his solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. He often referred to as the King of Pop. In 1982, album Thriller become the world's best selling albums of all time following Off The Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous(1991) and HIStory(1995). In 1980's, he become dominant figure in music with the success of music such as Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller. Michael Jackson has written about half of his top-selling hits which includes top 10 most-requested tunes like Billie Jean, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough and Wanna Be Starting Something.

Michael other achievements include multiple Guiness World Records — including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time" — 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career, and the sale of 750 million records worldwide. At the time of his death , he was preparing for comeback concert This Is It, a series of 50 concerts that would have been held in London beginning July 13, 2009.
